The ION DJ2Go is an entry-level DJ controller designed for bedroom DJs, beginners and mobile DJs that require ultra-portability and all the basic playback controls for DJ software.

Based on a users recent request we’ve just created a new DEX 3 and RED Mobile 3 mapping file for the ION DJ2Go that works for both the Numark DJ2Go and the ION edition.

For new Digital DJs thinking about making a move from using a keyboard and mouse to having hands-on tactile control with a DJ controller, the ION DJ2Go may be a good first buy.

The ION (or the Numark version) DJ2Go doesn’t include a built-in audio interface (sound card) so for headphone cueing DEX 3 and RED Mobile 3 users will want to invest in a simple 2 channel USB or Firewire Audio Interface. The Numark DJ I/O-2 would be a good fit for this simple bit of kit.

The ION DJ2Go is selling for around $99 on Amazon and some other online retailers, and the Numark DJ2Go version is available at various online DJ equipment retailers.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Unzip the Map (js file) To: C: (Windows) or App Folder for DEX 3 (MAC) – Program Files (x86) -> PCDJ -> DEX3 -> CONTROLLERS. REPLACE THE EXISTING Numark DJ2GO SCRIPT WITH THE NEW ONE!
