Default Document
Enable default document
Enable this option to instruct the Web Site or Virtual Directory to automatically serve a default document when no document name is specified in the request. (eg. Default.htm, Default.asp, Default.aspx, index.htm, index.html, Default.html, start.htm, start.html, Default.mspx, index.php, etc.)
Adding a new web document
Use the [Add ] button, the “Add” context menu item or press the Insert key while the list control is focused.
Editing a web document
Use the [Edit ] button, the “Edit” context menu item or press theSpace key while an element from the list control is selected.
Removing a web document
Use the [Remove ] button, the “Remove” context menu item or press theDelete key while an element from the list control is selected.
Increasing the search priority for a web document
Use the [Move Up ] button.
Decreasing the search priority for a web document
Use the [Move Down ] button.
For Virtual Directories the Default Document List is an inherited metabase property from the parent Web Site. You can configure a document list only if you need to override the inherited one.
